What Archsynth offers

Archsynth is an AI visualisation service aimed at architecture and interior-design work. The official homepage lists sketch-to-render, interior redesign, image editing, image-to-3D and image-to-CAD features. Those are vendor-listed capabilities; we have not verified the geometric correctness of an exported model or drawing.

The clearest use case is exploring how a space could look. Compare it with Polycam when the task is to capture an existing room: visualising a proposal and documenting existing conditions are not interchangeable workflows.

Pricing and account restrictions

The homepage comparison advertises Student and Pro pricing, but the pricing page asks visitors to create an account to access plans and subscribe. Treat public comparison amounts as indicative rather than a guaranteed checkout price. Confirm billing frequency, included generation allowance, output resolution and cancellation terms in the offer you receive.

A claimed per-generation cost is not enough to estimate project cost. Count rejected variations and revisions as well as the final image. Ask whether the deliverable you need consumes a different allowance from a standard render.

Where it can help

A sketch render can support an early discussion about materials, atmosphere or composition. Keep the same input sketch when comparing variants so a change in prompt does not quietly change the proposed layout. A useful presentation makes clear which elements are fixed design decisions and which are generated suggestions.

Before putting a render in a client proposal, inspect openings, circulation, stairs, furniture scale and repeated details. Visually persuasive output can contain impossible geometry. Present it as a concept image unless the underlying design has been checked separately.

CAD and 3D outputs need a separate review

Do not treat the words CAD or 3D as a promise of construction-ready documentation. Reopen a sample export in your actual software and check units, dimensions, layers, object structure and editability. If a contractor needs a measured drawing, ask who is responsible for checking it.

That inspection is a recommended acceptance process, not a benchmark we have completed. We do not claim a measured speed improvement or a validated professional accuracy level.

Verdict

Archsynth is worth evaluating for concept visualisation when you can compare the output with a known brief. Start with a small example and establish the real revision cost. Choose it for a specific visual deliverable, while retaining professional review of anything that will be used to make design or construction decisions.
